Mrs. Truong Thi Thu Trang has 20 years of experience in agriculture and rural development. She got her bachelor degree from the Hanoi Foreign Trade University, master degree of development economics from the Williams College, Massachusetts, the USA, and doctoral degree of economics from the Australian National University. Before being Director of the Center for Agricultural Policy, she had taken positions relating to research and management at the Institute of Policy and Strategy for Agriculture and Rural Development, and had been consultant to many domestic and international institutions, such as Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, General Statistics Office, State Securities Commission, World Bank, Food and Agriculture Organization, United Nation Development Program, International Food Policy Research Institute, Mekong River Commission, Dartmouth College, Australian National University, etc.
